Hi,
we have a Supermicro Server X7DBR with a Hardware SATA Raid Controller. So we configured two RAID Sets, for our 4 Disks. In the BIOS of the Raid Controller. 2x 140GB RAID1 2x 400GB RAID1 Then we booted the VI. Hardware was found without Problems, besides the VI shows all 4 Disks seperated. Not the two resulting Raid1 Volumes. Why does the VI see the Physical Disks, after the RAID Setup? We want to use the security of the onboard Raid Controller, or is it possible to setup a Raid in VI? |

Please check our HCL for the list of certified hardware, including servers and RAID controllers. We continue to expand our list of hardware. If you would like to register for a free support incident, we may be able to help you with this issue.
