I recently install VI 3.1 on a Dell poweredge 6950. Everything was working fine until... I'm not sure what I did but I ended up rebuilding the local array at the controller level. now when I attempt to rediscover the node it shows up except I cannot build any local volume groups because under hardware/SCSI/SATA information it says "Partition Information: Does not contain a valid partition table". I have not been able to find out how to correct this issue and would appreciate any input.

It would probably be easier if we spoke with you directly to diagnose the problem. Would you mind creating a free support incident?
