I'm interested in learning how others have setup low cost VI solutions. This could be with or without Directly Attached Storage arrays. A few questions of my own are, when building an "OEM" solution for VI, does motherboard make/model need to be specific? Also, am I correct in saying the only 2 pieces that need to be VI supported are the Processor type and HBA type for the VI software to operate?
