I would like to know whether there is at list of supported raid-controllers for in-server storage?

Also a greater support for those usually onboard servers, such as Intel and Adaptec.

Also when will iSCSI be supported for virtual server boot?

Is there any options to run VirtualIron virtual servers with the security of RAID, but without a fiber-channel SAN?

We've updated our HCL to include certified RAID controllers.

I could be a little off on this but iSCSI HBA is supported in a way. The drivers for the Qlogic iSCSI HBA card are there but the VDISK shows up as local storage to the Server Node and can not be shared across servers. So you can not just move VMs across nodes. I do understand they are working on it but sharing and failing IP addresses across the nodes is a problem. I am not sure if ISCSI Software support is really an important concept to true enterprise customers. Labs are the only place I would ever consider such a thing.

What (if any) SATA controllers are recommended at this point?
