I want to create another vdisk in my logical volume. My volume group has free space yet. Can I make my logical volume bigger? |

You may want to create another volume -- each volume is meant to be used with a single virtual server.
In 3.1, it is not possible to increase the size of your volume; you will need to create a new volume and clone the vdisks in the existing volume to it. Edited: 01/16/2007 at 01:13 PM by cbarclay |

Extending the LV would be a server down time event then?
When you say "volume" do you mean "volume group", "logical volume", or "virtual disk" which also is denoted as "V" ? |

I meant logical volume. Extending a logical volume requires the virtual server to be stopped in version 3.1.
