Is there an option to restrict memory usage of the node.
It consumes 2 GB (displayed in the console) which is a lot compared to VMWare and Microsoft Virtual Server making it less profitable.

The node should not use 2GB. You can see how much memory is available in the Virtualization Manager, by looking at the node (not through the console). We tend to see ~500MB of memory usage, but it can be more if you have more memory (i.e. > 24GB RAM).

Thanks for your reply, I am looking in the Virtualization Manager
It displays 5871 of 8999 available. However I have only 1250 assigned to virtual servers. Will importing disks etc. increase memory?

It would probably be easier if we spoke with you directly to diagnose the problem. Would you mind creating a free support incident?
