Is it a way to get localized keyboard in VNC console ?
All keys are spread randomly with my french keyboard. I find most of them but the dot key doesn't seem to be bound. Thank's to the on-screen keyboard app that save me

It might be easier to use an alternative console, such as telnet, putty, or Windows Remote Desktop.

Thx, but all this alternates need network connectivity. In case it's not available how to fix it ? And what about initial setup of a VS when you need to give name, domain, IP, DNS, the 25 digits of the key on Windows... ? If I do AltGr+6 on Linux, which usually do a pipe (|) on french keyboard, this instead produce a Alt+Ctrl+Del and reboot the system .... funny isn't it
Well, I know what is missing. qemu-dm must be started with -k fr argument. I've already done this on Xen 3.0.3. If possible I'll try to rebuild the PXE boot from source.

Job done. French keyboard is working
I've seen in source code that keyboard layout can be set using the configuration vector of the VS. So, I suppose there is a place somewhere that allow to configure it, but dunno where. I simply forced keyboard layout to 'fr' for all VS. |
