I got the software initiator setup. It's on the network. At least it shows the network is up. I cannot ping the IP address that I gave to the port. Should I be able to?

Once it is up and running, how do you rescan to pick up new LUNs? I am using an Equallogic PS-100E and created a new volume with unrestricted access. Why doesn't my VI node pick the LUN up?

Any suggestions appreciated.
