Virtual Iron Founder and CTO to Address Large Installation System Administration Group at MIT

LOWELL, MA  June 14, 2006 – Virtual Iron Software (www.virtualiron.com), a provider of software solutions for virtual infrastructure management, today announced that Alex Vasilevsky, its founder and Chief Technology Officer, will address the Back Bay Chapter of the Large Installation System Administration (LISA) group tonight, Wednesday, June 14th at MIT in Cambridge.

Vasilevsky’s presentation, “Enterprise-Class Virtualization with Open Source Technologies,” will address the emergence of new open source technologies such as Xen and the increasing role these new capabilities are playing in companies’ server and data center virtualization efforts.
