I managed to get a capture of the POST of my VM (I would show it here but the forum does not accept files) and it seems to find some ATA drives.  ATA typically does not accept disk IO queue greater than 1.

My diskbenchmarking is showing bad results, and the storage array never sees this server push a higher disk queue depth than 1.

How do I set my VM to emulate SCSI?

I have the VM tools installed, (I would post a picture of that but the forum does not accept files).  Under summary for the VM the vmtools revision is 3.2.9.29......

Help.

Please use the support process to report product issues.

VSTools provides accelerated IO for virtual servers. In Linux, disks look like IDE drives (regardless of the type of underlying storage). In Windows, disks look like SCSI drives (again, regardless of the type of underlying storage).
