Hi,
I thought VSTools is something different. After Build it with Linux kernel, I found those files are vefry similar to what I get by building VBD PV unmodified_drivers in Xen? Once thing I notice VI has VSTools driver for both Linux and Windows while Xen VBD PV driver modules can only work with Linux. Could you tell me more details about VSTools so I will know the improvement made by Virtual Iron. Thanks, Liang |

VSTools are Virtual Iron's virtual server tools. They provide accelerated block and IP drivers for Linux and Windows. They also provide virtual server control, allowing you to shut down a virtual server from the Virtualization Manager. Last, they provide performance statistics for use with LiveCapacity. VSTools allows you to use very large virtual disk sizes, many virtual NICs, and many virtual disks.
