Virtual Iron Software Achieves "Ready for IBM DB2 Software for Linux" Designation

Denver and Acton , Mass. , May 20, 2005 - Virtual Iron™ Software, Inc. today announced that its Virtual Iron™ VFe virtual computing platform has obtained the "Ready for IBM DB2 Software for Linux” designation. Organizations running applications that use the DB2 Universal Database for Linux on either Novell Suse Linux Enterprise Server 9 or Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3.0, on top of Virtual Iron's virtualization platform, can run DB2 UDB V8.2 FP7 on any Intel 32-bit platform.
