We are seeking talented, aggressive and highly-motivated individuals to provide support to our fast-growing Enterprise Sales team in selling our data center virtualization and management software solutions. If you’re an over-achiever, driven by new business success, and you've got what it takes to grow and support a new business initiative, then we want to speak with you.
The right candidate will play a key role in capturing and supporting Enterprise customers by providing pre-sales technical support to the Sales team. Duties will include:
- Provide sales support through advanced technical support related to design validation, customer trials, demos and application testing/staging.
- Create technical designs for customers that meet customer requirements and help solve customer business or technology problems.
- Deliver technical and sales oriented presentations to customer’s technical staff and senior management.
- Build and maintain relationships with technical decision makers and influencers in your account base.
Qualifications:
- Experienced pre-sales engineer with the ability to obtain virtualization knowledge and skills quickly.
- Experience working with large enterprise software sales is mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to support new enterprise customers
- Experience with:
- Unix/Linux Servers (Linux certification(s) a plus)
- SAN/NAS storage and switches (EMC,IBM,Brocade,McDATA)
- SOA & Application Servers (WebSphere,BEA WebLogic,JBoss)
- Enterprise Software (SAP,Peoplesoft,Tibco)
- Relational Databases (DB2,MySQL,Oracle)
- Programming or scripting in Java,Python,Perl
- Virtualization products
- Data Center Management Products
- Technical acumen with ability to present and sell technology products in a business context
- Willingness and desire to travel extensively in support of sales activities and team success
